Safety
Deep control, Ssangyong Motor’s advanced autonomous system, uses camera and radar to monitor surroundings and can take pre-emptive action to prevent accidents. The Electric Brake Unit (EBU) with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) ensures top braking performance and quieter, safer driving on all road surfaces. The percentage of high tensile and ultra-high tensile used for the e-Motion’s frame has been increased to 77% for increased strength and safety. The passenger safety cell has been structurally reinforced to ensure a higher level of protection in the event of a collision ensuring safety is the number one priority.
Drivetrain
The Korando e-Motion employs a lithium iron phosphate battery, prioritizing safety, durability, and fire prevention, while offering protection from external impacts. With 152.2kW and 339Nm of torque delivered instantly, you will enjoy a powerful dynamic performance. Regenerative brakes convert braking energy into electrical power to recharge the battery. Recharge a fully depleted battery to 100% capacity in around 11 hours. Using a DC ultra-fast (100kW) charger, you can reach 80% in around 33 minutes.
